I am so excited, or "Small things amuse Small.... ok enough of that..

I just made an Amazon store. The reason it's really  neat and I am so sexited is because now I can share stuff I think is cool, and also where to buy it from in one little neat place.
Also (only some of the things), I get a little kickback... but it's probably so small it doesn't really matter, but it's a little bit like the Cherry on the cake.

I am going to cross post this post to all my Blogs, thought I better give a little heads up in advance!

I also used to post profusely, however I used a little "what would I like" and decided that I liked blog reading light, not to be bombarded with zillions of posts etc.

I haven't touched my background blogs in a little while. I am not really sure if people are using, and/or liking them; So if you are... please drop me a comment or email on what you like/dislike, whether you want to see more and what kinds/colours... you know just  general feedback :)

If you are an avid blog reader and enjoy them with your breakfast like I do every morning, if you don't know already there is something called "Readers". They are super easy to use, FREE and can list and keep track of hundreds of blogs.
Basically you add the blogs you like to your reader " I use Google Reader",  and each time a blog is updated, it gets added to your reader....so
every morning when you sit down to read your blogs, all you do is log into your reader and scroll through each new post. You do have to click on a link back to the actual blog page to comment, but it is so so SO much easier!!
I HIGHLY recommend using one :)

Woah! this is much more than I usually post, just catching up and all excited about being able to share things with people and where to buy them all in the one place! hehe like a little girl I am!

FREE MINIMA STRETCH BACKGROUNDS

I have been playing with the Minima stretch blog background more so nowdays and rather than this blog get confusing with the regular and minima stretch together I have decided to now put all the minima stretch background I make on a new blog all by themselves.

Hopefully this will make it much easier to sort through and find. :)

FREE Minima Stretch Blog Backgrounds

Just a little FYI, in case someone has actually used one of the new minima stretch backgrounds yesterday and finds it no longer working...
I did an OOPS

I had to change them because when opened on a wide-screen (like my hubbies) you could not read the Blog as the background was all skewiff.

I was considering being lazy, as on my smaller screen you could see it fine but then I thought about if people actually used them they would want people to be able to read their blog no matter what screen.. so after a little bit of experimentation I found how to work it and fixed the ones I did yesterday.

The regular blogger backgrounds are fine, I just had to fix the new Stretch ones I am doing.

I really like the look of the stretch, I think it makes everything so much neater and easier to read :)
Anyway, sorry if you did grab one yesterday... hey, I never professed to be good at this, just playing around with stuff :) But they should be all good now :)

Codes "should" be fixed

Just a quick note to say that I went through and checked every post.
I think I fixed the ones that were wrong, but did not check each one.
Please let me know if one isn't working :) From here on in I think I will check each one I do :)

For some reason the blog was loading slowly also, I have taken off a heap of widgets, so hopefully that will help. Let me know if it doesn't and I will take off more :)

I think people visit as the visitor numbers go up, if you do I would love any ideas or criticism, or feedback, though not nasty because I would prolly cry.. no, not really, however I would really love to know what you think about each one that you look at.

It gives me ideas, and whether to make more of a certain sort etc.

Well that is abou tit! I will try and make some more soon... nothing like a newbie, home grown background huh? hehe ( I was being silly) :)

I should check before posting.. I don't have time right now but will not be making any more backgrounds till I get a chance first to go through all I have made and make sure that they work.

Problem sorted with sizing

Well I am still playing and finding new things, I have finally found a size that does not cut off half of the background that I create.

Not even sure if anyone has used them but a little bit on every side would not be shown.

I finally played with things tonight and think I have found the right size to fit in.
When I get more time one day I will go through each background I have made and correct it... but time...

Oh well, at least I know for next time :)

How to use the backgrounds

It's really pretty easy:

• Make sure that you have "Minima" blogger template as your base template
• open your layouts section
• click "add gadget"
• click "add new HTML"
• then just copy and paste the code under the picture you like.
• (and don't forget to save it :p)... I know I know, but even I forget this sometimes hehe
  

You will more than likely have to change around your text colours etc .. as you can see I like to use lots of colours, and that can be found in the layout section under fonts and colours.

If you hate it.. well then just delete it.

The templates are totally free to use wherever you like, as long as you use it AS IS and not change it in anyway. Thanks :)

Welcome Post

Hi! Welcome to the new home for my blogger background creations.. or maybe I should just call it preschool .. or wait Newbie-ville hehe

This is only just new. It's not going to become a blog with zillions of backgrounds to chose from, nor is it professional.


It is simply a place where I can organise the backgrounds I have been playing with a little better for me, and for those (if any) that actually like them and would like to use them on their blog.

I try to make sure that every credit goes to where I find the pictures. If I have used yours or something I have done wrong please let me know, I do it all in good faith and have no ill intentions other than to play around and maybe send a little something different into the pool.

If you stumbled across here, I hope you have a little fun looking around and I would love to hear what you think.. but please be nice, or at least constructive ;)
